Most of you probably remember the writers' strike that happened recently. All members of the Writers Guild of America (mostly television writers) demanded things from the studios they just weren't getting. The strike lasted 100 days: from November 2007 to February 2008. Almost every single show was effected as there were no writers to write any new scripts.
Luckily, the writers strike did not affect High School Musical 3: Senior Year. The script was finished beforehand. But now there's talks of a new strike. This time, it's with the actors. The actors' contracts will expire this summer, and some have already began negotiating with the studios to avoid another strike, which Hollywood cannot afford. Things aren't looking good so far.
Our point is that depending on when the actors choose to strike, the stars of the Senior Year might have to call it quits on filming, thus postponing the release date.
Pray this won't happen!
