"Sonny With a Chance" to Continue Without Demi

Disney must know something we don't, because even though "Sonny With a Chance" isn't scheduled to continue production until January, the show is reworking itself and will no longer include Demi Lovato.

Could this mean that Demi will still be in treatment two months from now?!

"Sonny" writers are refocusing the series on the "So Random!" sketches, musical performances, and digital shorts. A slew of guest stars will also be included. Sounds like a kid version of "Saturday Night Live"!

A Disney Channel spokeswoman explained, "This allows her the time she needs to get well, without distraction or pressure. Again, we extend our ongoing support to Demi and her family as she works to overcome personal issues."

While the show has successfully produced two "So Random!" specials before (one that aired on October 17 and another that is scheduled for later this month), can it really last without Demi's involvement for long?

Looks like we'll have to wait and see.

Demi Lovato Debuts New Music Video

It was only a matter of time before music became a more permanent pillar in "Sonny with a Chance". In an upcoming Halloween episode, Demi Lovato performs a new song entitled "Work of Art" as her character, Sonny Munroe.

Check out the music video, with a short introduction from Shaquille O'Neal (we forgot all about him!).

The song itself is pretty decent. The video is boring. Hopefully some of you will enjoy!

Raven's Back!

Oh Raven, how we've missed you!

Check out this sneak peak of an upcoming episode of "Sonny With a Chance" in which Raven guest stars as Amber, the president of Chad Dylan Cooper's fan club!

This show is so unfunny but Raven is sure to bring some light and energy to it!

The episode airs this Sunday (August 29) on Disney Channel.

Where Did Raven Go?...

Oh, here she is!

Now that Raven is moving on from her Disney days, it's hard to keep up with her! And not because she's doing so many things, but primarily because she rarely comes in the public's sight.

Well things are changing. Raven posted a video update from the set of her ABC Family movie Revenge of the Bridesmaids. The film will premiere on the network on July 18 (yikes, that's soon!!).

Other things to look out for: On December 22, Little Fockers (the sequel to and Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers) will hit theaters. Raven stars as Tamyra, the family babysitter. Also, Raven is set to guest star as Amber in an episode of "Sonny With a Chance" soon.

Selena Gomez is Disney's Top-Earning Television Star

It's no secret that Miley Cyrus is worth a billion, but many of you probably don't realize that she isn't Disney Channel's highest-paid actress. Most of her money comes from her music and the "Hannah Montana" franchise, but not her per-episode salary from the series. Selena Gomez makes more than Miley on "Wizards of Waverly Place", according to new reports. Hell, even the Sprouse twins make more than her! Here is a complete list of the highest-paid child actors on television and their per-episode salaries:

Demi Does "Jimmy Kimmel"

Demi Lovato appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel" to promote a wide range of projects, including her live performance of "Make A Wave" on "American Idol" tomorrow (March 24) and the second season of "Sonny With A Chance". She also chats about her Barney days, her relationship with Joe Jonas, and her music taste. Normally she comes off as entitled and stand-offish in her interviews, but she's actually sweet here.

"Sonny With A Chance" Season Premiere Tonight

In case you missed Disney's month-long ad campaign for the second season premiere for "Sonny With A Chance", it's TONIGHT (March 14) at 8pm|7 central.

We've never been a huge fan of the show, or any of its stars for that matter, but we just might tune in tonight. This season does look better than the last, but we won't know for sure unless we watch it.

Also premiering tonight is the second half of the two-part "Hannah Montana" season finale at 7:30 and a new episode of "JONAS" at 8:30.

"Sonny With A Chance" Musical Episode Coming Soon!

Tiffany Thornton recently revealed that she and her fellow "Sonny With A Chance" cast members are currently in the process of filming a musical episode for the series. The series will join the ranks of "Even Stevens" and "That's So Raven", both of which had musical episodes back in their hay day.

We're not at all surprised. Demi Lovato is an insanely successful recording artist, Tiffany thinks she is, and Sterling Knight is convinced he is too. And you can be sure Disney will milk this for all it's worth by putting the songs on iTunes.

Did You Watch Sonny With a Chance

Did you watch "Sonny With a Chance" last Sunday when it premiered? We're sorry if you did. And we advise you not to if you haven't. We saw a rerun last night, and it was awful. We might even prefer "Hannah Montana".

Anyways, 4.1 million Americans watched the hour-long premiere on Sunday.

Disney is gearing up for February and the premiere of a new series and movie. But it puzzles us...

"Sonny With a Chance", starring Demi Lovato, is premiering on February 8. That's a Sunday. Normally, all Disney shows premiere on a Friday and eventually change to Saturday or Sunday.

Also, Dadnapped, is premiering in a Monday night. That's definitely not a good sign. Disney has excellent ratings with their premieres on Friday, but maybe they're hoping for more on a Monday?

Sonny With a Chance

Disney Channel is beginning to promote their new series, "Sonny With a Chance", which premieres this spring.

The show stars Demi Lovato as a girl from Wisconsin who lands a role in one of the country's hottest sketch shows.

Speaking of Demi, her new music video for "La La Land" is supposed to premiere on December 19 during an encore airing of Camp Rock.

For those of you Demi Lovato fans, we have a tidbit about her upcoming Disney Channel series.

The title was previously called "Welcome to Mollywood" but has now apparently been changed to "Welcome to Holliwood", according to some sources. Which do you like better? We personally like the latter.

Ew!

Demi Lovato is getting her own show on Disney Channel. It's called "Welcome to Mollywood" and it focuses on a girl who has her own TV show because she won a contest. A show within a show? How cliche!

We think Ashley Tisdale's new show will be better!
