Apparently, Kaycee and Ryne Sanborn shared a dance together too. If you don't remember, Martha and Jason go to prom together in the third High School Musical. Bart Johnson and American Idol runner-up David Archuleta also attended the wedding.

Lifetime's Dare to Wear: High School Musical Cast

The Lifetime network featured the High School Musical cast in their "Dare to Wear", where women on the street are asked to comment on celebrities' outfits and then say if they would dare to wear them. Although they seemed overall pleased with what Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and Monique Coleman were wearing, there wasn't much love for Kaycee Stroh, whose outfit wasn't all that bad. One girl even took a dig at her hair color, which is not what she was supposed to comment on.

Everyone Was There: the Premiere of High School Musical 3!

The United States was finally able to herald in the arrival of High School Musical 3: Senior Year last night, Thursday, in Los Angeles!

EVERYONE was there!: Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale (who was sporting darker locks!), Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Jemma McKenzie Brown, Milly and Becky Rosso (the British twins from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody"), Lori Loughlin ("Full House", "90210"), Kaycee Stroh, Paula Abdul, Chris Warren, Jr., Anna Maria Perez de Tagle ("Hannah Montana" and Camp Rock), Selena Gomez, Jennifer Stone ("Wizards of Waverly Place"), Madison Pettis ("Cory in the House"), Chelsea Staub (Minutemen and, soon, "J.O.N.A.S!"), Meaghan Jette Martin (Camp Rock), Alyson Stoner, Brenda Song, David Henrie, Olesya Rulin, Kenny Ortega and dog and High School Musical star Manly, and Cody Linely and "Dancing With the Stars" partner Julianne Hough! Plus SO many more, but we felt those were the most important!

Noticeably absent, however, was Lucas Grabeel, who we now deem antisocial.

Here are videos and pictures from the premiere! There may be more on the way!

10 Fun Facts About Monique Coleman

We are now continuing our 10 fun facts series, partly because there isn't any High School Musical news to report. Today's topic: Monique Coleman.

  1. At age 27, Monique Coleman is the oldest of the ten main High School Musical actors.
  2. Monique was on the winning teams of both the 2006 and the 2007 Disney Channel Games. She won the final competition, Simon Says, in the 2006 Games when "Hannah Montana" star Jason Earles bowed out.
  3. Monique was the third High School Musical star to be offered to go on "Dancing with the Stars". Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens were also offered, but turned it down. Monique finished fourth in the fall 2006 season, and later went on tour alongside other competitors, including Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan.
  4. Although she does not consider herself a singer, Monique's vocals appeared on the High School Musical 2 and 3: Senior Year soundtracks, as well as the Disney Channel Holiday CD, where she covered the song "Christmas Vacation".
  5. She finished as the last female competitor on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2006.
  6. Monique appeared on the "Oprah" and broke down into tears when she was given the opportunity to meet her idol, Queen LaTifa.
  7. As far as the general public knows, Monique was the only High School Musical star who was not offered a recording contract after the imediate success of the film.
  8. Extras on set of the films, Monique is closer to the lesser-known actors like Corbin Bleu and Kaycee Stroh, instead of others like Tisdale and Hudgens.
  9. She has guest starred on four episodes of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody".
  10. She was once voted in People's hottest stars under 25.

Our Top 10 HSM Actors

There are ten main High School Musical actors. We've decided to rank them based on how we like them. The lower the number, the more we like them (i.e. we hate number 10 but love number 1).
  1. Ashley Tisdale. We think we've made it pretty clear that she's our favorite. We can't give any reasons why, she just is!
  2. Zac Efron. He is just so hot we cannot control ourselves. Plus he seems pretty humble.
  3. Lucas Grabeel. So talented, yet so underestimated.
  4. Monique Coleman. If there's anybody who's been humbled by the success of High School Musical, it's her.
  5. Kaycee Stroh. We used to hate her, but now we love her!
  6. Ryne Sanborn. He's got a certain charm that we find adorable.
  7. Chris Warren, Jr. He seems humble, but we see him as the person who secretly thinks he's all that and a bag of chips.
  8. Vanessa Hudgens. She's pretty and talented, but really whiney. Plus, she stole Zac!
  9. Corbin Bleu. He has got to be one of the most annoying people. Maybe if he didn't put his hair in a ponytail, we'd feel differently.
  10. Olesya Rulin. Sure, she may be the quiet and sweet Kelsi in the movies, but reports from our insiders say that she's the biggest diva. She even wears her sunglasses indoors. Psh...
Well, we're sorry if we've offended anyone with our comments, but just remember it's out opinion. We hope you're inspired to think about how YOU would rank these stars. Email us at disneyhsmblog@yahoo.com because we'd love to read your list!

High School Musical Star to Be Married!

Kaycee Stroh is engaged! The dancer told People that her boyfriend Ben Higginson asked her to marry him after a long day of filming.

“We shot from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m., and Ben was waiting for me in my trailer,” Stroh says. “He was waiting for me with a single red rose. Then he took me up to the H Rock, a place at the top of a little mountain that overlooks Salt Lake City, and we watched the sunrise. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.”

So what does the ring look like? “It’s a princess cut solitaire diamond surrounded by pave set diamonds. I don’t ever want to take it off!”

The couple plans to get married late this year! Up until this interview, she had not told any of her costars about the engagement. Congratulations Kaycee and Ben!
