Meaghan Martin is a Mean Girl

Meaghan Jette Martin has opted not to participate in the Camp Rock concert tour because she will be busy in Atlanta filming Mean Girls 2! The sequel to the film that launched Lindsay Lohan's adult career begins filming next month.

Meaghan will star as Jo, an average girl who befriends social outcast Abby, whose father promises to pay Jo's college costs if she continues the friendship. In a plan reminiscent of the firm film, Jo and Abby team up to take on the wealthy and superficial Plastics. Maiara Walsh of "Cory in the House" and "Desperate Housewives" will be starring as the lead Plastic, who has yet to be named.

No word on a release date for the film, but if you want your chance in the spotlight, here's your chance! The film is looking for extras. The casting call below has all the info you need. Good luck!
