Despite exciting rumors that Mariah Carey and Vanessa Hudgens would be portraying a mother-daughter duo in an upcoming film, Mariah says they are not true. "I haven't heard that," she says simply at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Wednesday (January 6).
The film would have centered around an "American Idol"-esque singing competition, and it actually sounded good! Oh well, maybe Vanessa is still attached to the project?
