Wowzers!
First, waaay back in 2003, Hilary Duff starred in The Lizzie McGuire Movie, the first film based on a popular Disney Chanel series to hit the big screen.
Then, just last week, High School Musical 3: Senior Year did the same!
This April, Miley Cyrus will be on the big screen, annoyance and all, for The Hannah Montana Movie.
Now, it's just been announced that Disney will be making a movie version of "Wizards of Waverly Place", starring Selena Gomez! This will be Disney Channel's fourth leap to the big screen (not counting the Hannah Montana concert movie).
"We actually want to shoot it here in New York," she told MTV News. What would the film be about? "I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed." Dun dun dun! No word on when production is going to start or even when the film's due but we can't wait!
