Ah, this makes our day! Ratings for "Hannah Montana" are down. Sunday's new episode had a 14% decrease in viewers than the previous new episode, which aired in March. In total, ratings for "Hannah Montana" have dropped 26% since the series premiere in March 2006. And that's just new episodes! Reruns are down, too.
Many say the Vanity Fair photos are to blame. But the ratings started declining before Miley even took the pictures. Still, people are losing interest in the Hannah Montana empire.
Disney President Bob Iger says it's the opposite and that "... with a new season of shows coming up, a new record in July and a theatrical film next year, the 'Hannah Montana'/Miley Cyrus franchise is incredibly robust."
We disagree. Just because they are making all this Hannah Montana crap, it doesn't people will buy into it. They've milked this cow long enough.
The most incredible news, however, is that "Wizards of Waverly Place" has been named Disney's most-watched program! We love Selena Gomez and we hope she becomes Disney's new "it" girl, not Demi Lovato.
