Beastly Gets Pushed Back

Vanessa Hudgens' upcoming film Beastly, which was scheduled for a July 2010 release, has been pushed back to March 18, 2011!

As previously reported, the original summer release date would have put Vanessa's film at odds with Zac Efron's Charlie St. Cloud. CBS Films cites that as one reason for moving the film's release date but also bring up that Beastly star Alex Pettyer's film I Am Number Four opens in February 2011, so the audience will have been introduced to him before seeing Beastly.

That all sounds like a load of crap to us. It's never a good sign when a movie's release date is pushed back, especially if it's because of competition.

Good luck at the box office, Vanessa! You're gonna need it!
