There must be something in the Disney waters! Both Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez have confessed to not liking one of the hottest franchises right now, Twilight.
Miley was the first to do so, yesterday (November 18). Said exclaimed "I've never seen it and nor will I ever." She continues to explain, "I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires. ... I don't like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I'm watching my TV at night. I don't like it. I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts. I don't like any of it."
We don't even know how to make sense of that. Well, ironically, Miley's next feature film, Wings, will be produced by the same guys who are producing the Twilight films.
And today, on "The Bonnie Hunt Show", Selena admitted to not liking the series either. "I don’t watch them. Sorry, I feel bad … even though I am a teenager."
Again, this is ironic, as her rumored ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner is one of the films' stars.
We can't blame either one of them. We haven't read the books, but we saw the first film and were miserable. Needless to say, we don't plan on seeing New Moon. But we hope everyone that does has a good time!
