Cody Linley, best known for his role as Jake Ryan on "Hannah Montana" and for his stint on "Dancing With The Stars", is starring in an upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie called Starstruck.
And - wait for it - he's recording music for the film!
"Basically, he’s [my character is] into this plain Jane chick he has an adventure with and they have a cool friendship that happens. He starts to realize lots of things about himself and it has a cool message," Cody reveals. "I’ve been singing every day. I’m recording six songs for the movie."
Since when does he sing? Let's hope it's good...
It's unclear if this film will be a musical, but six songs seems a little excessive it it's not. So we say count on it!
There's also no word on a release date. Maybe 2010? If so, that's Camp Rock 2, High School Musical 4, and this possibly-a-musical film all in one year. So overwhelming - in a good way!
