Zac Efron Through With Musicals, Pulls Out of Footloose

Zac Efron has pulled out of Footloose!

The actor was supposed to play the lead role in the remake of the musical classic, which Kenny Ortega is directing. However, it was announced today that Zac told Paramount that he does not want to do a musical right now and pulled out of the project. There is no word on who will replace Zac.

So does this mean no Hairspray 2 for Zac?
