The rumors about Vanessa Hudgens auditioning for the role of Leah Clearwater in the Twilight sequel, New Moon, continue to be denied.
In fact, the LA Times reports that not only did the High School Musical star not audition for the role, but Leah won't even be in the film! We guess her character isn't important enough to make the cut. We don't read the books, but we hear Leah is a very prominent character in the fourth one. Is cutting her out of the second setting the subsequent films up badly? Or will it not matter if Leah is introduced in the third or fourth movie, just not the second?
