Vanessa Hudgens was supposed to celebrate twentieth birthday at Chateau Marmont and event sent out invitations. But she canceled at last minute, fearing bad press for hosting her birthday at a bar.
"She canceled because she didn’t want the bad press because it’s a bar," a restaurant source tells E! News. "She could have gotten in though, because they serve dinner as well."
Instead, the actress and singer had a small, intimate dinner with Zac Efron. Aww...
That was a good call on Vanessa's part. She isn't the most-loved starlet out there and rumors would have flown. Then again, she did attend Zac's twenty-first birthday in October which was at a bar/restaurant (but mostly at the bar, undoubtably, since it was his twenty-first) and that didn't seem to cause any uproar.
