I wonder what kind of phone he's using....Ever since I started working with Motorola, I've become a huge fan of the Krave. (motorola.com/krave) It's got a laundry list of sweet features, but my favorites are the digital qwerty / t9 keyboard on the touch screen. It's definitely worth checking out. Has anyone else seen it?
