Oh My...

The internet is abuzz with rumors that Camp Rock 2 will debut on June 7, 2009!

As you may recall, we were satisfied with the film. It was much more enjoyable than we thought it would be. Of course it was no High School Musical, but its sequel was inevitable. So we learned to just accept that fact that a second movie would come along soon.

But these rumors claim it's coming out only one year after the first one! Normally sequels are separated by at least two years. We thought it was crazy when High School Musical 2 only came out a year and a half after the first one and it was followed only fourteen months later by High School Musical 3: Senior Year. But Camp Rock 2 is due out only twelve months - MINUS a few weeks! - after the original, which premiered on June 20 of this year.

We guess they don't want the buzz on the Camp Rock franchise to die down before a sequel can follow. Seriously, does anyone still care about this series? We hear nothing about it anymore! Then again, the Jonas Brothers are in it, and the hype never dies down with them!
