Zac Efron turns 21 on October 18.

21.21.21.21.21.21. This birthday is a right of passage! In the U.S., it's the legal age for drinking.

How does Zac plan to celebrate this milestone? By keeping it low-key.

"I am sure I will be celebrating with some family and close friends – nothing extravagant. I am going to stay in." Good for you, Zac! Set an example for your fans!

And what does girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens plan to get him for his birthday? "I don’t know [what to get] yet. But I guess I have to think of something quick!"
