Reportedly, this year's "American Idol" runner-up, David Archuleta, may make a cameo in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Disney sees that the young star could have talent in the musical business and this is the first step! FOX, the network that airs "American Idol", does not want David to make the appearance as he already has a commitment to the summer concert tour.
Even Simon Cowell thinks the "American Idol" alumnus should take the gig, as does David's infamous stage dad.
A cameo appearance should only take one day to film, maximum, so they wouldn't be pulling him from the tour. The concert tour does not have a performance every night.
Personally, we believe that NO celebrity should make a guest appearance. The cast is fine the way it is.
